Duwamish Alive! 2021 An annual volunteer cleanup event spread across the Duwamish River Valley. Join in volunteering at The Heron’s Nest to assist in a variety of community building projects. All activities are outdoors, masks to be worn. Supplies, tools, bathrooms, parking and room to spread out provided. Please bring a water bottle and personal work gloves (if you don’t have any, we got you) Volunteer projects will include beginning a new mural of the Duwamish River Valley, carpentry and welding projects and intros on ‘how to’. Along with interactive plant propagation, greenbelt restoration and landscaping projects.
